It performed very well on a week’s winter Munro-bagging trip in Scotland. Would have liked some sort of waterproof cover but so

Just to set the scene- I am a mountaineering instructor the British Army and climb an awful lot. I brought an osprey bag after much deliberation and watching various films on Youtube. They have a good reputation and I was told how comfortable they are.
I used this bag for two weeks mountaineering in the French Alps and it looked like I had had it for years. It has worn really badly and I am quite worried about it breaking while I am out on the hill and being stuck with it. The stitching isn’t very good and overall it seems very flimsy and fragile. I imagine for very occasional day use it would be fine, but its too big for just one day and it more of an expedition pack.
I emailed Osprey and told them all the problems and they didn’t even bother responding.
On the plus side it is fairly comfy…
