As usual great delivery service, have put tent up and left out overnight,no problems with strong wind also light shower but no concerns.Very impressed with inner tent and also the foot print I bought would recommend one.Nice touch with this tent is the little finishes such as how the inner tent connects to the awning part making it very secure.Have bought this tent just for 2 persons as we like a bit of space but would do for 4 as you have a nice space in awning for extra kit.
Every year I head off to an overseas camping event so I am always on the lookout for the perfect tent. This is a little on the heavy side for me. I was camping alone so would willingly have sacrificed some bedroom space for more living space. That is why I docked one star. But, hey! its sold as a compact 4 person tent. The weather this year was changeable. Not heavy rain but a constant drizzle for a couple of days and that gets things really wet. I had absolutely no problems with this. The inside tent stayed totally dry. The design of flap covers over the zips adds to its water security. I did not experience any problems with strength of poles which I read in one review. All in all, as a 4-person tent, I can’t fault it. It does what it says on the tin.
Both!!! poles broke on the first use!! I was there with an experienced camping/outdoor man and although I might not have inserted the pole 100% percent correctly the first time should both of them have broken in one go?? My experienced camping/outdoor man friend said ”no way, it should withstand much more than that”. I thought Vango was good quality. Made in china?? where corners are cut?? I don’t know but what I do know is that the quality of the poles are a disaster!! have asked for a refund so lets see if I get it.
